Can You Hear Me Now

“Can you hear me now” is a series I completed and showed in 2006.

With “Can you hear me now”, I wanted to visually interpret the patterns and use of the cell phone, to translate the solitary feel I observed and photographed. The images in this series are my attempt to show how we grasp our many gadgets in an attempt to reach out and make connection, and/or create community.
